Executive search firm Kinsey Allen International predicts nearly 6,000 financial services jobs will be created in the Boston area during the second half of this year. That represents an increase of about 4 percent over the 144,000 employed at the end of 2009 in the financial services sector, according to Kinsey Allen estimates. The firm says asset management companies, particularly smaller and more specialized ones, are the force behind the estimated upswing in jobs.
