Zhao Hao, 23, a recent computer science graduate from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, thought himself lucky to have landed a good job at a Beijing-based IT company soon after graduation. He never expected, however, that one of the recruiting websites that he’d submitted his resume during his job search would have leaked his private information, including his mobile phone number, to head-hunting companies.
