Continuing the series on Firefox add-on’s I wanted to share with you another of my favorites. It’s called Super Search and it’s been out about a years or so. Sounds a bit quirky but it works and can help you to SuperSearch-Firefox-inaction streamline your search efforts. Now you can  certainly create similar tool bars on your own bit this is a nice one that is already packed with good stuff. Not the best but good and it helps.

Super Search stores more than 160 of the best people search and web search engines in one handy add-on, including 67 searches that can be done right from the toolbar, without having to visit each site and retype the name or search term that you are searching.

** Tip: Try search in the toolbar’s search bar and choose different searches. You’ll see that you do not have to retype the search over and over. A nice way to save time and search multiple platforms.

There are services out there that allow you to create your own toolbars and they are fairly easy to use but this is a great start for those of you that just need a little more organization in your search.

Con’s (Just 2)

  • You cannot update the toolbar (you can make your own through other services)
  • You cannot reorganize the toolbar
