SAN DIEGO, March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — At ERE Expo, one of the largest semi-annual events for corporate recruiting professionals, TheLadders today announced its first-ever U.S. mobile application for recruiters called Recruitable. The app, which now is available exclusively at the app store, will expedite the job-matching process by connecting recruiters with the most qualified candidates. Recently, TheLadders — the most comprehensive job-matching service for career-driven professionals — revealed that it has surpassed the 5 million-member milestone since launching almost a decade ago.

TheLadders Recruitable app, which initially will be available to the company’s recruiters, compares new candidates who join TheLadders to recruiters’ existing job posts, and immediately sends notifications when there is a match. Additionally with Recruitable, recruiters can view candidate profiles and connect with candidates instantly. The app was devised during the company’s December 2011 Hackathon, a semi-annual event at which the product-development team collaborates intensively on innovative projects. Historically, this opportunity has fostered creativity as teams build and test new tools and techniques.
