SAN DIEGO, March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — At ERE Expo, one of the largest semi-annual events for corporate recruiting professionals, TheLadders today announced its first-ever U.S. mobile application for recruiters called Recruitable. The app, which now is available exclusively at the app store, will expedite the job-matching process by connecting recruiters with the most qualified candidates. Recently, TheLadders — the most comprehensive job-matching service for career-driven professionals — revealed that it has surpassed the 5 million-member milestone since launching almost a decade ago.
TheLadders Recruitable app, which initially will be available to the company’s recruiters, compares new candidates who join TheLadders to recruiters’ existing job posts, and immediately sends notifications when there is a match. Additionally with Recruitable, recruiters can view candidate profiles and connect with candidates instantly. The app was devised during the company’s December 2011 Hackathon, a semi-annual event at which the product-development team collaborates intensively on innovative projects. Historically, this opportunity has fostered creativity as teams build and test new tools and techniques.
“As the only mobile app for recruiters that instantly connects them with fresh ‘recruitable’ candidates, wherever they are, Recruitable will revolutionize the job-matching experience,” said Alex Douzet, COO and Co-founder of TheLadders. “This app is especially meaningful to TheLadders because it was conceived during our last Hackathon, which reflects our appetite for innovation throughout our almost 10-year history as an industry pioneer.”
In its twelfth year, ERE Expo is recognized as a premier industry event that attracts hundreds of corporate recruiting professionals to share new ideas and the latest technologies. To view demos of the new Recruitable app or to schedule a meeting with TheLadders’ executives, visit Exhibit Hall booth 114 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.
