iCIMS will roll out “unifying experiences” within its talent cloud and offer several new capabilities as part of its spring 2021 release. The features aim to help recruiters better identify candidates who match each job’s requirements, strengthen DEI reporting and make new use of video.

Usability is also a theme. “The pandemic has brought a new standard of talent acquisition that requires flexible and adaptable consumer-grade user experiences to meet automated, yet authentic, engagement with candidates and employees,” said Chief Product Officer Chirag Mehta.

Among the new features:

  • The ability to automatically identify appropriate candidates with intelligent talent matching. New talent match capabilities in the iCIMS ATS provide a simpler, faster way for recruiters to deliver talent to hiring managers. After identifying ideal candidates for a role based on required skills and experience, iCIMS automatically recommends best-fit candidates, which iCIMS says will reduce manual work and unconscious bias.
  • Expanded capabilities of the Dynamic Candidate Profile helps provide HR and talent acquisition leaders with insight into individuals while improving the experience. A “quick view” details how a candidate is engaging with the company and facilitates use of email, text and chat.
  • New diversity analytics allow TA to explore where underrepresented candidates drop off off in the hiring process, view candidates by stage within their self-identified race, ethnicity and gender to understand where more inclusive measures should be implemented, and set goals for each hiring stage.
  • Enhanced video storytelling and engagement features allow organizations to leverage employee-generated video content through iCIMS Video Studio, which integrates into iCIMS’ offer, onboarding, CRM and career sites.

In addition, the release includes an integration with Microsoft Teams, and integration of iCIMS Text Engagement with ATS, according to Enterprise Times.

Separately, iCIMS and UKG built an integration between iCIMS Applicant Tracking and UKG Pro to automate and streamline the recruit-to-hire workflow. The companies are now expanding their integration capabilities.
