SmartRecruiters, a provider of enterprise recruitment software, launched SmartOnboard, a native solution it says will deliver “a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.”

“The new solution allows HR teams to get new employees up and running through a simple, tailored and engaging onboarding experience that can be managed at scale,” the company said.

SmartOnboard allows new hires to find and complete their onboarding tasks, be introduced to their team and familiarize themselves with their employer’s brand and culture.

The solution also delivers a new hiring experience, standardized and automated onboarding activities and improved compliance measures, SmartRecruiters said.

SmartRecruiters CEO Jerome Ternynck noted that organizations that offer hey standard onboarding experience get greater productivity from new hires as well as enjoy increased talent retention

“Research shows that nearly two-thirds of employees stay with a company for three or more years if they experience great onboarding,” Ternynck said. “We’ve listened to our customers’  needs and created a product that truly streamlines the onboarding process for hiring managers and new employees.”

Benefits of Automated Onboarding

According to SmartRecruiters, automated activities free up onboarding teams from managing paperwork and allow them to focus on getting new hires “positioned for success.” With SmartOnboard, the firm can control their new hires’ data from a single system.

“Onboarding is one of the lowest-rated areas in talent acquisition technology today, according to Fosway reseearch, and one of the most in-demand areas for future investment,” said Sven Elbert, senior analyst at Fosway Group.

In January, SmartRecruiters partnered with PandoLogic to power TA and intelligent hiring processes through advanced AI. Companies that use SmartRecruiters’ programmatic offering, SmartJobs, will also be able to use PandoLogic’s AI-enabled recruitment technology, the companies said.

In January, the company acquired Attrax, a provider of software that helps companies build personalized job sites.
