iCIMS announced enhancements and initiatives for Talent Cloud during its second annual INSPIRE Virtual Conference.
Like other vendors in the recruiting space, iCIMS is positioning its new features as a response to the dynamics of today’s labor market which are, to say the least, odd. In an environment marked by “a scarce supply of job seekers and a rapidly changing workforce,” employers have come to depend on “unintegrated and disjointed recruiting products [that] are forcing talent leaders to fall short of their transformation ambitions and instead focus on siloed updates,” the company said. Those factors are especially important when business leaders “must embrace continuous transformation.”
“Many of the tools talent teams use today were not built for this new talent economy or for what’s required in the new era of continuous talent transformation,” said CEO Steve Lucas. “The iCIMS Talent Cloud is meeting candidates and talent teams where they are today, and anticipating needs of the future.” With that said, the company has focused tuning some solutions and adding new ones “to help organizations transform the way they attract, engage, hire and advance talent.”
Now included in iCIMS’ toolkit:
- Consumer-Grade Experiences in the Flow of Work: Easier paths to find and apply for jobs using traditional and new tools such as text engagement and user-generated video. Meanwhile, the talent team experience allows recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate more effectively.
- A Range of Talent Acquisition and Mobility Applications: iCIMS is taking its experience in talent acquisition and candidate engagement and applying it to existing employees with the iCIMS Talent Cloud Opportunity Marketplace. The new solution leverages AI, video, text and chat-based recruitment marketing and engagement capabilities.
- Reporting and Analytics: iCIMS expanded its partnership with Visier to provide end-to-end Talent Cloud analytics in a single place. Also, predictive analytics are available to support DEI initiatives. In 2022, iCIMS plans to release enhanced DEI analytics that can project whether diversity goals will be met, allowing talent teams to adjust their efforts as necessary.
- Dynamic Candidate Profile: New UI features provide expanded details on skills and data for recommendations within iCIMS’ Dynamic Candidate Profile. Personal identifiers within the resume and candidate profile can be redacted to mitigate unconscious biases.
- Video Engagement Tools include employee-generated video content to support candidate messaging throughout the talent journey, including email and text campaigns, chat, career sites, job descriptions and opportunity marketplaces.
- Data-Backed Intelligent Insights: iCIMS announced a new partnership with the writing platform Textio, designed to simplify access to Textio’s language insights while crafting job descriptions in iCIMS.
iCIMS also announced expanded self-service capabilities, a revamped and improved community module and a new certification program that includes a Product Knowledge Certifications within iCIMS Academy. The company also opened iCIMS Ascend, features meant help organizations define their talent vision, guide leaders through the talent lifecycle and build appropriate strategies, processes and experiences.
In October, iCIMS unveiled its Internal Opportunity Marketplace, a module that connects employees to internal job opportunities, and helps them build long-term careers within their company.
