HRIS provider Hibob launched an integration with SmartRecruiters with an eye toward improving onboarding processes for new hires, managers and HR leaders.

Leveraging Hibob’s people management solutions and SmartRecruiters’ sourced talent, the integration will streamline an employer’s “new joiner” activities from recruitment to onboarding, then continue to impact experience, engagement and efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle, the companies said.

Hibob’s platform, called bob, come into play as soon as an employee is hired. By joining forces, SmartRecruiters and Hibob said they’ll streamline HR efficiency by allowing companies to quickly get new hires oriented with their responsibilities and integrated into the company culture.

An Integration for the Times

“As many businesses begin to reopen their physical workspaces, we are seeing that work from home and hybrid work environments will be the norm, making a strong remote hiring and onboarding experience imperative,” said Hibob CEO Ronni Zehavi. “Hibob’s data shows that two-thirds of new hires consider quitting if they have a poor onboarding experience, so streamlining this process is necessary for retention.”

The integration SmartRecruiters, Zehavi said, will “eliminate the pain points in these processes and help companies make a strong first impression on their newest team members.”

SmartRecruiters CEO Jerome Ternynck sees the partnership as making sense given the effects of the pandemic. “In this new world of remote, companies need innovative HR tech tools that provide the collaboration and efficiency needed to be successful in their jobs,” he said.

Hibob said demand for its products has grown over the past year as companies shifted to remote work and sought solutions to enable communication, collaboration and productivity.

In March, SmartRecruiters announced an integration with Modern Hire that automates submitting on-demand and live video interviews and assessments. The partnership provided Modern Hire’s customers with an automated process for submitting material seamlessly from within SmartRecruiters workflows.
