Diversity-focused talent acquisition platform PowerToFly added a Candidate Search feature to its PowerPro product. Candidate Search will help customers identify and recruit candidates from underrepresented groups based on specific parameters like gender and ethnicity. The tool allows users to find, shortlist and engage potential candidates within a single search function.
Staffing solution-provider Diversely was acquired by the Access Group, a developer of business software. Access plans to incorporate Diversely’s inclusive-hiring capabilities into its Volcanic recruitment website platform. The result will be a “fully inclusive” to attract candidates and shortlist applications while reporting on DEI and improving pipeline diversity, Access said.
Ceipal integrated ChatGPT into its ATS, allowing recruiters and staffing professionals to “work more efficiently and effectively.” ChatGPT’s generative AI capabilities will help create Boolean search strings for use in candidate sourcing, develop consistent job descriptions and produce interview questions and answers to evaluate candidates, the company said.
The applicant tracking system market size is expected to increase by $745 million from 2022 to 2027, a CAGR of 5.69%. According to Technavio, the growth stems from the increasing adoption of cloud-based ATS’s and the digital transformation of HR departments within organizations. However, the market is experiencing challenges including the ability to assess the long-term quality of applicants and the limited breadth of search scope because of key word searches, the company said.
AllianceHCM’s latest software update includes an AI-powered job description builder and an AI-driven resume summary generator. The job description builder incorporates industry trends, HR best practices and job requirements to accelerate the recruitment process by cutting back the time needed to create job descriptions. The summary generator creates concise summaries of a candidate’s resume by automatically extracting key qualifications, experiences and achievements from a submitted resume.
First Advantage acquired Infinite ID, a an identity authentication solutions company. The $41 million deal expands First Advantage’s U.S. portfolio of identity solutions. First Advantage CEO Scott Staples called the transaction “a major milestone toward our strategic objectives to expand our portfolio of innovative products and differentiated solutions while strengthening our core business.”
Tech-talent marketplace Huntly launched in the U.S. The marketplace aims to connect employers with independent recruiters and offer a seamless hiring experience, coordinating interview arrangements and keeping clients consistently informed. Separately, Huntly added a variety of new features, including tools for candidate management, candidate communications and real-time status updates.
