Glassdoor completed the acquisition of Fishbowl, a social network used by more than 1 million professionals engaging in conversations about career, industry and workplace-related topics. Financial terms are not being disclosed. Because of Fishbowl’s focus on building connections and conversations for working professionals, the company said the two platforms are highly complementary and will help users get the information necessary to make more informed career decisions.
Sourcing platform Talenya released Engagement AI, a fully automated talent sourcing solution. The company said Engagement AI can save hours of work by automatically sourcing and contacting potential candidates, allowing more time for interviews and connection. Talenya’s data scientists spent four years developing the GDPR-compliant technology, the company said.
Lever announced plans for Candidate Fit and Intent Data, an offering that will help teams source, identify and reach out to candidates and measure if they’ll will be a good potential fit for a company. In addition, Candidate Fit and Intent Data will increase retention and employee performance by finding candidates that fit the role and company.
Brazen released a new Sourcing Marketplace to help recruiting teams drive candidates to virtual hiring events. Through a diverse network of sourcing partners, Brazen handles the event promotion, delivering new, qualified and engaged talent to register for events. This, the company said, lets hiring teams focus on hosting without worrying about turnout.
Clovers raised $15 million in seed funding in a round led by Greycroft and Alpha Edison. The company will use conversational intelligence to make interviews more effective and more inclusive. The company said it will offer real-time questions for interviewers, post-interview candidate insights and postmortem interviewer coaching.
Diversely, which launched its D&I platform earlier this year, closed a pre-seed round of $550,000 from investors in the U.S. and UK. Diversely provides employers scalable tools that help them understand, track, measure and improve the diversity of their pipelines, starting at the sourcing stage.
A study by ResumeBuilder.com found that 1 in 3 hiring managers will disregard resumes that don’t include a vaccine status. Sixty-three percent also said they prefer candidates that list their vaccination status on their resumes.
