Nearly two-thirds of employers, 61%, say they’re having difficulty retaining employees, and 73% are having difficulty attracting talent, according to research by the Integrated Benefits Institute. In response, employers have changed their attraction and retention strategies, the organization said, with 82% of them seeing improvement in retention if they implement strong onboarding processes

Active job seekers remain generally upbeat about employment opportunities while acknowledging changing conditions, according to the technology industry trade group CompTIA. The group’s data suggests job seekers believe the labor market remains on solid footing, and about 27% of the labor market, representing more than 40 million workers, actively pursued a new job or career change over the past 90 days. Among those seeking new employment, nearly 40% describe the current job market as very strong or strong, versus 26% who say it’s weak or very weak. The remainder are in the middle

Phenom announced a new partnership with Pontoon, which offers RPO and managed service provider solutions. Together, the partnership will provide an integrated intelligent talent experience solution designed to deliver hyper-personalization and automation that can improve recruitment outcomes including increased speed to hire, the companies said.

Bountiful, a referral-as-a-service platform, launched out of Venture Studio High Alpha. The company said its platform will improve how companies hire by activating personal and professional networks to drive quality job candidates and build better and more diverse teams. By using the platform, employers can activate their internal and external networks to hire qualified candidates more quickly.

Interview platform Sapia.ai added eight new languages to its services. These languages – French, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Italian and Swedish – will help the company further expand its services and grow its data set, which sits at 12 million responses from 2.7 million global candidates.

SHRMLabs, a subsidiary of SHRM, unveiled the WorkplaceTech Community, which will serve as a central location for subject matter experts, company founders and consumers to gather and explore existing HR tools and address gaps in the market. In addition, the community will help educate HR professionals about emerging technological tools.
