Unemployed American workers are experiencing a massive case of job-hunt burnout, according to research from staffing firm Insight Global. More than half of those surveyed, 55% – 66% for Gen Z – said they’re completely burned out from undergoing a lengthy job search process. Meanwhile, recently unemployed full-time workers say they’ve received only four responses to an average of 30 submitted applications.

Talent acquisition platform Ceipal released its VMS, Procurewise, with the hope of “bringing automated sourcing and spend management tools to staffing firms and beyond.” The product helps organizations curate talent, automate candidate engagement and activate their talent supply regardless of source. In addition, the company said Procurewise will give users more visibility into their talent ecosystem.

DHI Group’s ClearanceJobs launched its Candidate Mobile App on the Apple App Store. The app provides candidates with access to the company’s national-security job marketplace. Founder and President Evan Lesser said the app is “the next step” in creating a ClearanceJobs community.

Cangrade partnered with NEOGOV, an employee lifecycle management company, to help public-sector HR teams with hiring and talent management challenges. The partnership integrates Cangrade’s candidate success and retention predictions and NEOGOV’s HR management system, with the goal of ensuring organizations are able to hire candidates who will succeed and stay.

Occupop, a provider of recruitment software for SMBs, introduced an AI prompt library. The “ChatGPT Prompt Library for Recruitment” offers more than 100 prompts to help talent acquisition professionals generate and evaluate prompts to address a number of recruitment and HR activities.

Howdy.com, a talent sourcing and management provider that connects U.S. companies with Latin American technology workers, acquired GeekHunter, a developer talent marketplace based in Brazil.

Weekday, a Y-Combinator backed startup that offers referrals and references based on a software developer’s social graphs, emerged from stealth with a $2.2 million round of seed funding led by Venture Highway.
