Crosschq added new DEI features to TalentWall, in a bid to help employers visualize the entire active and historical candidate pool and more accurately track diversity-focused sourcing and hiring initiatives.

In announcing the enhancements, TalentWall President Jake Paul said most companies traditionally rely on voluntary EEOC forms to compile the data necessary to generate full ATS analytics. The new, enriched data from TalentWall, he said, will help customers “prioritize their diversity hiring efforts with a 90% confidence rate in the diversity of their candidate pipeline.”

Acquired by Crosschq in 2022, TalentWall created a recruiting analytics platform that helps talent acquisition teams use data to hire more efficiently.

Progress Slows

Earlier this year, Crosschq’s Q quality of hire report found that diversity hiring had slowed significantly enough to threaten years of “purposeful” progress. In a bid to prevent further erosion and help employers meet their ESG and DEI goals, Crosschq leveraged third-party resources and AI to break down the gender and ethnic makeup of candidate pipelines.

That, in turn, provided customers with a better understanding of how their TA strategies perform and examine how pipeline diversity trends over time. This allows TA teams to measure the impact of specific initiatives and amend diversity hiring efforts to reflect organizational goals, Crosschq said.

“There are countless well-documented benefits of having a diverse workforce that truly represent the broader society, including increased innovation,” said Dr. Ella Washington, CEO of DEI consulting firm Ellavate Solutions, in a statement provided by Crosschq. “While we have seen some setbacks in DEI hiring recently, now is not the time to lose focus on diversity commitments.”

In May, Crosschq expanded its Insights and Crosschq Voice products. At the time, the company said combining the extended solutions would provide a single operating platform to manage all aspects of hiring intelligence.
