TextUs completed an integration with Workday, bringing its text-messaging platform to the HRIS. TextUs said the deal will allow talent acquisition teams to integrate texting into their daily process within Workday. The integration will let users text directly from TextUs’s Chrome extension. Correspondence will be automatically logged with date and time stamps.

SAP rolled out a new internal-marketplace that delivers customized recommendations to help fuel workers’ personal growth and increase organizational agility. Backed by a capabilities framework – which defines the skills, knowledge and behaviors an organization requires to succeed – the SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace goes beyond traditional skills-based matching to consider an individual’s interests, workstyles and experience, then uses the information to recommend mentorships, learning and networking opportunities as well as short-term assignments and gigs.

Nearly three-quarters of American senior managers plan to bring on contract workers to support year-end initiatives, said a survey by Robert Half. Companies in the technology, finance and healthcare industries have the greatest contract hiring needs. Workers are needed to help with taxes and budgets, open enrollment, IT security and e-commerce, among other things.

Cappfinity launched a partnership with engineering recruitment platform Codility to help businesses identify best-matched candidates at volume and speed. The integration will provide employers with a picture that combines insight into coding skills as well as each candidate’s innate strengths. Candidates will benefit from a seamless, immersive experience as they work through real-life scenarios and skill assessments, the companies said.

One in three workers, or 33%, would be very or somewhat likely to leave their job if health insurance weren’t a factor, according to a survey from insurance technology firm Policygenius. More than one in four respondents, 26%, said they’d be at least somewhat likely to start their own business if health insurance weren’t a factor.

Some 38% of workers say they’ve received a counteroffer at work. Of those, 73% accepted the offer, according to Back Office Staffing Solutions Employee Counteroffer Survey. In fact, 94% of those surveyed say their relationship with their employer after the counter offer was either the same or better, with 59% calling the relationship either better or much better. Only 5.5% said it was either worse or much worse.

Beeline and Ivalua, a cloud spend management solution, announced a partnership which incorporates contingent staffing into the total procurement spend solution. The companies said Beeline Extended Workforce Platform will interact with Ivalua’s spend management platform, enabling clients to acquire talent, manage contingent labor and optimize their external workforce from a complete source-to-pay platform that enables the management of all suppliers and spend categories.
