The company formerly known as SilkRoad Technology, rebranded as Rival, relaunched its recruiting offering as Rival Recruit and released Rival Engage, a new candidate engagement product. Rival Engage is a tailored talent acquisition solution that improves the candidate experience and application conversions with AI-enabled sourcing, recruitment marketing, career sites, hosted apply and ATS integrations.

FutureFit AI launched a beta version of its AI-powered career assistant, Career Copilot, designed to connect candidates with guidance, training programs and jobs. Career Copilot includes intelligent profiling, motivational support, labor market data, workflow automation and customer adaptation. It supports users in over 50 languages, the company said.

Upwork added AI-driven features to its platform, along with new educational content related to advanced technology. In addition, the company created a waitlist for access to its GPT-4 app currently in beta, Upwork Chat Pro. The efforts are designed to help professionals start and complete work more efficiently, improve productivity and enhance the quality of their work, Upwork said.

Upwork also launched the Upwork Research Institute to examine shifts in workforce dynamics and present analysis to business leaders. The Institute aims to help guide organizations through workforce transformation by shifting how they think and operate in order to recognize new approaches to managing talent and business.

Contingent workers expect a smooth experience at every stage of the recruitment lifecycle. Research by Bullhorn found that 68% of contingent workers would work with their staffing firm again, an increase from 57% in 2022. There’s still opportunity to improve, however: Meeting talent expectations at each stage of the hiring process stands to increase that loyalty significantly, Bullhorn said.
