Workforce management platform PRO Unlimited will acquire Workforce Logiq later this year. The transaction will combine two organizations that share a common approach to solving their clients’ contingent workforce management needs through the use of a holistic platform, the companies said. In addition, the transaction will expand PRO’s position as a preferred provider to the Global 2000.

Workforce Logiq comes with a reputation for innovation and growth including 16 patented or patent-pending solutions, dedicated data science and development teams and its Total Talent Intelligence platform.

The company’s presence in EMEA, specifically the Nordic countries, will expand PRO’s global reach. As a result, PRO said it will enhance the scale and breadth of operations to aid the continued global expansion of its large and mid-market client base.

“Bringing Workforce Logiq into the PRO Unlimited family will allow us to extend our reach and synthesize two like-minded entities that share the same strategy and platform approach to contingent workforce management,” said PRO Unlimited CEO Kevin Akeroyd. “The addition of its software and services into our platform will continue our tradition of eliminating the need for costly and inefficient point solutions to manage contingent labor.”

A wide range of enterprise companies use PRO’s and Workforce Logiq’s software and services to improve efficiency, cost savings and talent quality in the contingent workforce.

Strategic Deal-Making

In June, Workforce Logiq signed a data partnership with LinkUp, a provider of job market data and analytics. At the time, the companies said LinkUp’s labor-market demand insights would be integrated into Workforce Logiq’s Total Talent Intelligence platform. As a result, clients will be able to access a 360-degree predictive view of both talent supply and talent demand.

Meanwhile, in January PRO Unlimited announced a partnership with Eightfold AI. Under the agreement, PRO was to embed Eightfold’s technology into its products, including its SaaS solutions, to help customers optimize their contingent hiring practices.

The companies said the combination of Eightfold’s talent intelligence capabilities with PRO’s data and technical tools would help global companies better identify, engage and secure contingent workers anywhere in the world.
