SmartRecruiters acquired Attrax, a provider of career site software that helps companies build personalized job sites. The acquisition will result in an integrated offering, SmartRecruiters Attrax, designed to help customers build data-powered, curated career sites that enhance candidate experience and improve hiring outcomes. SmartRecruiters Attrax is available immediately for SmartRecruiters customers.

Handshake, a job network focused on recent college graduates, received a $200 million investment in a round led by Coatue Management and Valiant Peregrine Fund. With the financing, Bloomberg said, the company’s valuation increased to $3.5 billion. Handshake offers a variety of services to students and alumni including virtual career fairs and help in building career-related skill sets.

Equifax will acquire Efficient Hire, a provider of cloud recruiting, onboarding and HR management solutions. This acquisition will enable Equifax Workforce Solutions to bring employers more of the services and insights they need to help effectively manage their workforce, the company said. Efficient Hire offers a portfolio of solutions that is specially tailored to meet the needs of hourly employers.

iHire added HR Services & Consulting to its employer solutions portfolio. The customized package of services is designed to help customers with talent acquisition, onboarding, retention and compliance.  

Bullhorn launched Bullhorn Ventures, a venture capital unit focused on early-stage companies that help staffing and recruiting firms improve operational efficiency, reported Staffing Industry Analysts. The effort will launch with $20 million earmarked for investments.

Job-matching platform Otta raised $20 million in Series A funding in a round led by Tiger Global Management. According to TechCrunch, the London-based company will use the funds to expand its U.S. presence and double the size of its product and engineering team. Otta said that activity on its platform has increased from 1,000 applications per month in January 2020 to more than 5,000 per day.

Beekeeper unveiled a full-scale integration with EduMe, the training platform for deskless workers. With the integration, the company is introducing a suite of in-app training modules and bringing mobile learning, quizzes, assessments and individual lessons to frontline workers. HR teams and company leaders will be able to distribute targeted training reminders as push notifications through the Beekeeper app.

Woven, an interview platform focused on hiring engineers for software companies, will launch Woven Match, a new service that pairs hiring managers with experienced developers based on the platform’s assessment results. Woven uses a combination of human and machine-powered evaluators to identify candidates with problem-solving skills.  

Trusaic, a regulatory compliance software company specializing in pay equity analytics, joined the UKG Connect Technology Partner Program. The company’s pay equity, diversity and inclusion platform – called PayParity – helps organizations create a more equitable workforce through analytics and tracking for ongoing monitoring. With the collaboration, organizations that already utilize Trusaic and UKG Pro will be able to experience a fast integration process with same-day setup and quicker, more accurate data retrieval.
