Circa, a diversity recruitment and OFCCP technology company, redesigned DiversityJobs, its community of websites seeking to connect active job seekers and employers. The new site offers a simplified e-commerce experience for employers who want to purchase a single job posting or new job posting packages.

The company believes the job board’s redesign will make it easier for job seekers and employers who prioritize diversity to connect by providing them with easy search and report functions to find jobs, enhance their job search and explore communities.

In addition, job seekers can network and explore careers and advice with new community pages for women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, individuals with disabilities, people of color and older workers.

“With the acquisition last year of DiversityJobs, we knew we had a powerful brand with a strong following to take us forward. It mostly needed some new features and a new look,” said Patrick Sheahan, Circa’s CEO.

Job Hunting for Diversity

According to a recent poll conducted by DiversityJobs, 88% of job seekers think a diverse workforce is important when they’re evaluating a company or a job offer.

One of DiversityJobs’ key differentiators, Circa noted, is the make-up of its job seeker universe, which offers a higher percentage of people of color than the U.S. population.

A number of solutions providers are entering the diversity space as the area becomes more important to candidates and employees. In November 2021, for example, Jump Recruits released a new diversity recruitment talent hub, adding the capability to create custom pipelines for individuals and businesses and act as a community with shared career development tools, assistance in developing a more inclusive workspace and understanding evolving business capabilities.

Earlier in the year, CEIPAL launched what it described as the industry’s first AI-driven solution to address diversity, equity and inclusion within both the existing workforce and across talent acquisition sources. The tools leverage advanced technology to provide employers with complete visibility into their own workforce and hiring processes, then help to fill any diversity gaps, the company said.
