Today we have a “meaty” topic and a great guest. We’re going to be talking about office safety in a world changed by the pandemic we’re all going through. We have with us our guest Norman Fordthe vice president at Skillsoft.

 

Some introductions:

To begin, Norman is the VP of compliance products for Skillsoft. He has been with the company for 17 years. His background has been within compliance for all of his professional life.

Skillsoft offers employee training programs, including a Global Workplace Safety Orientation program as well as Global Safety Principles courses. These programs allow employers to protect their employees against common workplace hazards.

Pandemic-related, their focus has been on essential workers as well as folks working from home. There are new safety concerns within the work at home environment including lighting, ergonomics, and even fire protection.
