Announcer (00:01):
You’re listening to the Recruiting Daily Podcast. We’re recording from HR Tech in Vegas. Thanks to our friends and partners at Jovio, we are talking to some of the best minds in HR and business and digging into the most pressing issues in the workplace. So you don’t have to. Here’s your host, William Tincup.

William Tincup (00:20):
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is William Tincup and we are podcasting live from Jovio’s booth at HR Tech. And I’ve got Jack on right here in front of me. And Jack, would you do us a favor and introduce yourself?

Jack Jacobowitz (00:31):
Yeah. Hi, thanks for having me.

William Tincup (00:32):
Sure.

Jack Jacobowitz (00:33):
I’m Jack Jacobowitz from Marbles HR. Vice President of Business Development. We’re an HR marketplace, so we’re an outsource marketplace. So payroll companies are PEOs that are looking to offer more services and products to their clients to create a streamlined piece of technology and they want to outsource it. So they’ll come to us and they’ll license a HR marketplace front end where clients can browse hundreds of HR solutions that all integrate seamlessly into their payroll software.

William Tincup (01:05):
Oh, I love this. Oh, I love this. What a great idea. Absolute great idea. I need to know more, by the way. Okay, so I’m going to add you a magic wand.

Jack Jacobowitz (01:14):
Oh, my. This is nice.

William Tincup (01:15):
I know, right? So if you could change anything about the sourcing of talent or talent sourcing, what would you change?

Jack Jacobowitz (01:24):
That’s a very good question. I think if we can have a platform that would integrate every piece of technology with sourcing talent. Integrate it into one platform, into one solution where you get to see everything, full transparency. No hiding or blocking anything. I think that would be amazing and very valuable to people right now. As everybody knows, talent acquisition right now is one of the hardest things. There’s a lot of businesses. Everybody’s hiring, everybody’s offering a lot of money. So that would be an amazing product to have.

William Tincup (01:56):
Yeah, and what I love about that-

Jack Jacobowitz (01:57):
Just like what Jovio is doing.

William Tincup (01:59):
Well, what I love about this is again, these disparate systems. Systems don’t talk to one another. And you’re saying, “Okay, you might be sitting on, as a global company, you might be using four ATSs. Okay, fantastic. Get all of that into one place and then be able to kind of centralize that.” I love that. Great.

Jack Jacobowitz (02:16):
Yeah, it’s very similar concept to what Marbles is doing because think about a payroll company that wants to make more money. They’re just doing payroll and they want to start selling an applicant tracking system. Nothing integrates, nothing does anything. What Marbles does, we come in there and we give them one solution. Everything integrates their applicant tracking system, their time and attendance, their background screening, and everything like that.

William Tincup (02:36):
Oh, I love this. Seriously, what a great answer. Thank you so much for your time.

Jack Jacobowitz (02:40):
Thank you for having me. I appreciate it.

William Tincup (02:41):
Absolutely.
