Let’s talk Problem Solving
We hope you’ve been following the latest podcast series from HRTech 2019, where RecruitingDaily and Talemetry team up to ask some of the top people in the industry their thoughts on the future of hiring.
In this series, we’re learning what these industry leaders think the most sought after skills will be in the year 2025. In case you missed it, here’s the last episode – we talked the ever changing world of tech and the importance of endurance with Pamela Stroko.
Today features Jeanette Maister, the Managing Director and Head of Americas at Oleeo, and Jacqueline Kuhn, Executive Vice President of Strategic Services at HRchitect.
We asked one question.
“What skills or competencies will we be hiring for in 5 years?”
Jeanette leans toward old school problem-solving skills. Regardless of position, problem solving is a core competency that will never go away. Makes sense to us.
Jacqueline throws her punch at personal development. Accountability for both mistakes, as well as success. Her observation is that there has been a trend where people and work cultures are not fostering this.
Tune in to the podcast for more in-depth behind their answers!
Plus, they turn the question around on William to hear what his predictions are!
